Waffles
This recipe is based on using the Hollenshead family waffle iron. I would guess than most modern waffle makers us between half and two-thirds as much batter
Per waffle
100 grams flour
120 grams milk
1 egg
1/2 Tbl oil
2 tsp Sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder
Preheat the waffle iron to 3 1/2. The light goes out when the iron is hot, but can be a little undependable. Turn the heat down slightly to see if it is basically up to heat. Do not worry about coming back up to heat between waffles. Do not grease or spray the waffle iron.
Separate the eggs.
Whip the egg whites until stiff.
Mix all the remaining ingredients, fold in the whipped egg whites.
Cook waffles for 3 minutes.
